WHY AFRICANS FAIL TO BE CREATIVE 2
Why have the predominantly white societies of Europe and America achieved enormous development in their nations and continents whiles predominantly black societies of Africa hugely lag behind? What account for this development gap? Well, I believe that what separates white people from black people is grounded on this theory. The white man will try to carry out deep research to understand his own mind, his body and spirit while pursuing knowledge in a particular course or field of study he wants to master in. At the end of the course, because he now understands his own mind, body and spirit, he is able to apply his mind, body and spirit to study the things around him as they relate to the course he studied. Therefore, he is able to use those materials to create non-existing artificial things for the benefit of mankind.
In Africa, an individual who tries to understand his mind, body and spirit is condemned and sometimes ostracised. He may be accused of being possessed by evil forces. Sometimes if you are young they will find every means to convert you, and when you resist, they will destroy you totally. An example is when some people carry their children to spiritual people and medicine men to deliver and convert them because such kids are seen as witches. The spiritual pastors and the great marabout people will work to break those people down. The funny thing is that they say all sorts of things and claim that their words come from the holy book, and they will stand by these words to destroy the creativity, wisdom and spirit of the people in our continent. I appeal to the youth of Africa to join me so that together we can save these innocent people in our societies and they will grow up to bring change and transformation to Africa.
In this world, if you fail to use the power of your own mind, others will always use some creative words to beat and control you since your imagination is low. I often hear people say things like, "don't follow man, don't listen to man, don't believe any man," but "follow only God, listen to God only, believe only in God or in yourself." But the interesting thing is that the same people who say these words want you to follow them, to listen to them, and to believe in them. So who are these people and who are you? Why do they want you to believe in them? Are they God? Why do they say believe in yourself? Are you God? Or are you a human being? The logic here is that if they are not God, why do they want you to follow them, believe in them and listen to them? And if you are not God, why should you believe in yourself? Is it because they are using the history of the theory they believe to convince you? Are they not human beings saying or reading that history to you?
I believe that all men need each other in this life. Therefore, a man must communicate with his fellow man and listen to his fellow man. Humans do everything in this world and if one fails to communicate, listen, trust and believe in another man then one can't make it in this universe. I must say, however, that in communicating with your fellow man, listening to him and believing him, we must be careful in order not to be deceived and used. We must listen to and use our own brains to judge the action to be taken. We should try to analyse the philosophy and logic by ourselves because without that people will always quote some words from the history books to block and manipulate us for their own selfish interest. They may use the name of God and say that their words come from God and are final, so that you can't challenge them. When that happens, take the necessary action by yourself and not to submit yourself to them if their words do not make sense to you.
